  1. Welp. My first upgrade experience on the new @AlaskaAir begins with an involuntary downgrade to coach at the gate. Apparently the seat I was in is INOP.

      And now there is a passenger seated in the seat I got booted out of because it was supposed to be broken.

        I suspect a full fare F passenger was actually in the busted seat and that they moved them and downgraded me.

          Yay. Reupgraded. The seat has an inoperable legrest. The crew have confirmed that it’s not a safety issue. So we’re good.
