  1. well that was fun. I just poured half liter of sweet tea into my laptop. It literally sizzled before I managed to kill the power. I may be in the market for a new laptop

      Well, I didn't lose any data. And the m.2 SSD slotted into the second SSD slot on the Xiaomi backup notebook. I guess it's time to look at 2018 notebooks?

        Checking the purchase date and cost, I paid $5/day for that notebook. All in all, that's not too bad.

          update! This morning, I sure did a couple pins where it looked like a component may have vanished. Now, the machine appears the power out just fine. The next step is a sugarless keyboard. I’m going to have some fun with my spray bottle of isopropyl alcohol.
