Finally making a proper CNC workstation with my dad. Sure we could make the top out of 3/4” plywood, but something a bit heavier should help reduce vibration. For about 15% more than the current market rate for plywood, we’re going granite.

Today we cut the one ragged edge off the granite and cut the edges of the table top.

Notched the corners of the table’s legs. Definitely still learning to use the non-CNC router.

Tacked the structure together. Next step is screwing it together properly.

screwed together. I also used epoxy to shape the bottoms of the legs to the bottom-even-planar surfaces under the legs.

Granite top installed and ShopBot moved into place.
