@isthelaststop Best is requirements-dependent, but if I’m coming from epoch seconds, I’d likely stick with a TIMESTAMP WITHOUT TIMEZONE. It’s unambiguous and can always be resolved to a localtime for any timezone in the Olson database. And some day your home timezone will change.
