      @asmallteapot Yep! It’s identical to the dance I have to do for family members when they get new iPhones as gifts. The iPhones in retail packaging are invariably at least one point release behind the back up.

    @asmallteapot This is, however, a huge pain in the ass. For retail customers, there are to be a way to download an iOS update during the install process.
