@scientiffic When I was at Wesleyan, usernames were assigned by algorithm. I was JRVincent because a guy named Jim got Jvincent. Ami Student’s email address conflicted with the examples in all our help desk documentation. (astudent@) Andrew Dyke and Andrew Stoner won (or lost), though.
