      1. First time on a new BART train in service. It’s cleaner and in better repair, but it feels like some kind of detention center.

      It is 100% correct that they ditched the padded seats and carpet, but it feels like it was optimized to be pressure washed.

    I -think- the lighting got changed to something much colder and more institutional feeling. I can’t imagine why that’s a win, but I’m sure there’s a reason.
