    @apenwarr I’m fairly certain that this is a cracked logic board or failed component. I pretty much only run this device in Low Power mode anymore. The issue has survived factory restores across multiple major iOS versions and happens on a stock OS with no third party apps.

      @apenwarr I haven’t bothered to study the 6s+ logic board design, but the hot point is about 1cm below the camera module.
