  1. Ran out of data on my Hong Kong sim and their payment gateway isn’t letting me top up. So today will be brought to you (very slowly) by T-Mobile’s increasingly rate limited international roaming.

      When it debuted, data rates were sold as “2.5G” at around EDGE speeds. That must have been too expensive, because T-Mobile now says roaming is at “Up to 2G speed.” I’m now getting GPRS speeds in Japan, Taiwan, and China.
