  1. Today, one keyboard factory told me that while they plan to switch to ARM Cortex M3, they're currently using a Taiwanese MIPS MCU with native USB support. The MCU costs...USD$0.72. Though now that I look, that's only a dime cheaper than microchip.com/wwwproducts/ATSAMD11C14
