          @whitequark We don’t talk a whole lot about the cost structure publicly. But I’d really like to someday. Mass production costs in China are mind-bogglingly different than what one might expect.

        @whitequark We were pretty careful with our planning and dug deep into our factory’s pricing. In a few cases, we went and sourced stuff ourselves when we didn’t like what they came up with. That price reflects a healthy profit per unit, even.

    @whitequark We’re working on ways to reduce the price of the next rev of the Model 01. We’re considering a version without LEDs and possibly with a plastic enclosure.
